Okay, we know that since Apple released the iPhone, you’ve all been wanting to modify it to do your bidding. Over on the OS X side of things, we have iFuntastic, which provides a slick GUI interface for modding your device. New to the Windows side of things is iBrickr. iBrickr is the Windows application that makes it dead simple to modify your iPhone, add and manage custom ringtones, and install third-party applications. We give you a full tutorial of how it all works in this episode.

Hey guys! Just wanted to know if iBrickr will work on phones that are still in packages? I have TMobile as my phone service, will iBrickr work on the IPHONE right out of the box? Do I need to do anything else before I jailbreak the IPHONE? Thanks everyone!

I just used IBrickr to install custom ring tones on my iphone and it took me about 10 minutes to do it. It’s so easy. Just download IBrickr, watch the tutorial/instruction video and you’re done. It works 100%. Thanks so much.

Hello,
I have been trying a couple of times and when I press the button “Check again” after download is completed and iPhone was removed but it does not do anything. I continue to have the Check again screen of iBrickr

In iTunes there is no restore button. There is only an Activation screen. And i don’t have ATT to activate the iPhone. Is there a way to unlock the phone without ATT account?

hey,am havin some probs with launching ibrickr,after launching file ibrickr.exe i get window where it says that waiting to connect iphone to my pc..but then thats it no follow up..whats can be wrong?

Umm. I got the ibrick prg to extract fine. I have ibrick 0.8 and Itunes 7.4.3.. My question is there is an opition to not FREE your phone. So I went with add ringtones without modding my phone… THE RING appears in my phone/settings for Ringtones.. Here is the issue I can listen to it..but if I call my phone it goes back to another ring. Ive tried already to turn off my phone an turn it back on..Results are ringtone still exsists BUT WHEN you call the phone still goes to the oldschool orginal ring? Have any idea..thanks so much

I can´t see the restore botton, all i get is the activation page. Can anybody help me? Do i need to upgrade the itunes? im currently using the version 7.3.2 like the page says.

I had an unlocked Iphone 1.0.2. Is it possible and safe to install Ibrick ? If yes, do I have to follow what I saw on the videoclip or do I have to skip the paet where I have to press the “restore” button on Itunes or other things ? Please HELP !!!

this is for david, dude you can use the ibrickr only one problem you cant use it if you have version 1.1.1 on if you have 1.1.2. If you try and use it witha different versionv it will lock the phone and the process to unock an unlocked phone is much harder

i’ve tried everything but doesnt seem to work! i had to restore to factory which i didnt want to and now i cant seem to downgrade! the video and the steps given are way different! please help!

to john: do you mean that if i have ver. 1.1.2 i cannot use the ibrickr? so i’m pretty much stuck with default settings after my iphone is unlocked?

I have a bnew Iphone 1.1.1 firmware i want to unlock it with out a wifi access here in my office i am using one of the depreciated instructions for Windows XP, i installed ITunes 7.4.3.2 and i changesd the SIM from AT&T;before hand to the one i am using here (Local GSM) but when i start I tunes it says i need a higher version I tunes toa ctivate my Iphone and the phone says the sim card is not valid and when i start Ibrickr it does not see the Iphone, what am i doing wrong> please help me i am desperate.

Hi I tried to folllow the steps to add ringtones to my phonea nd when my screen went green I tried to restore my phone and now it goes Black with a buch or white writing all through. Then it goes to the white apple in the black screen and just repeats. Can u help

i need some help from the big guns i have a unlocked iphone just got the net working took a while but got it done anyway when i click on the ringtones in the ibrickr the fake iphone appears but no list of ringtones i downloaded 2 and they now show on the fake iphone but when i go into my phone it just shows the factory ringtones
2nd how can i pull up my contacts on my t-mobile sim on the iphone thanks for you help

Dear guys,
i have a terrible problem with ibricker these days. when to install an application it shows ater a few seconds that install is complete no matter how big the program is and the iphone restars but nothing installs.
A lot of other people have this problem
Please HELP, i must put vt100 terminal on my iphone to get it working.

my iphone was upgraded to 1.1.3 and i cannot activate it due to my location, i’ve tried to ibrickr to downgrade to 1.0.2 but after that if keeps on restarting showing the apple logo then a script run then restart again.

What up guys. I am brand new using I bricker, and I’m having major problems. When I do ring tones it shows up on the fake phone but not the actual phone. I put nes on the phone but can’t find any games. Somebody please help me.

PLEASE HELP.
I had already restored (completely) the iphone before I found the Ibrickr software. So when it says to disconnect the iphone before it restores.....well thats to late b/c I already let it complete. So when I click check again....nothing happens. Is My iphone done for? Please help

hi there i have a small but big problem!!
i got a Iphone unlocked and everything was fine till it updated 2 1.1.3 when i went 2 update 2 1.1.2 as i know that was safe for the unlocked phones so i have started 2 unlock the phone and get it going at the start but when ibricker asks what itunes did and trys 2 fix i get a load of running numbers and it wont stop now i plug the phone in 2 my pc and the screen goes blue and runs the number’s
would love some help plz

Dear People,
about two months ago I bought a Iphone with firmware 1.1.2 and got it jailbraked and unlocked. However, yesterday I was using it on the speakers with the I-radio application, after I stopped it the Iphone restarted what it occasionally does. But this time it didnt restarted but it showed me the sign of a n Iphone in recovery mode. Now I tried to boot the phone with Ibrickr 0.91, it got red like what it should do, but then i got the same problem over and over again, so it doesnt seems to work, But I dont want to restore to original settings in Itunes because then I have to jailbreak and unlock it again.. This is right isnt it? Does someone here know what I can do best or what the solution is for my problem?? I appreciate your help… Greets Maurice

My phone started scrolling real fast codes of numbers and than it goes to the apple sign. what can I do to restore it? it happened while jailbreaking with ibrickr and it took 2 long so i took the fone out of the dock now it goes on and off constantly with fast codes and numbers one of the words said kernal thats all i could make out please help me ive tryed hold the buttons together for short and long periods of time nothin happens and also when i put in dock computer and itunes and ibrickr doesent recognise the fone is even in the dock and i cant just take it down to my local apple as my country hasnt even received a release date 4 iphone yet so im begging of u please help

to SCREWED....
i had the same problem last week, i had to hold the two buttons to restart it, but i didnt let go until it showed the synce with itunes icon (power cord and itunes symbol) you have to restore it to factory and jailbreak it all over again. it worked for me should work for you, hope it helped
